FOR PARTICIPANTS (Conditions of admission)
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a professional attitude, commitment and strong motivation. In addition a good command of English is essential.
Liability
Participation in our masterclasses occurs at the participant’s own risk. Participants are responsible for damage which they may cause. Liability for compensation, in so far as it is not based on intent or gross negligence is out of the question, in particular if a masterclass or a course has to be cancelled.
Participation fees
If an application is cancelled before the final application date or more than one month before the first day of the course, 50 per cent cancellation fees will be due. If withdrawal occurs after the final application date or less than one month before the first day of the course, participation fee is non-refundable. Only in proven cases of force majeure (e.g. Hospitalization, accident, death in the family etc) otherwise the participant is obliged to meet the full fee within two weeks after cancellation. After that the full fee as well as any legal costs will be declared to the participant. Participants is also obliged at last minute cancelation to provide an acceptable (by the Academy approved) replacement, who will pay full tuition fee as stated.
Data protection
Participants take note that the data stated by him or her will be stored and processed according to the terms of the data protection law.The IBA holds the right of using recordings and photographs taken during the courses, perfomances and Master Classes for promotional purposes.
Confirmation of participation
At the end of their masterclass active participants may request a written confirmation of participation.
Choice of law and place of jurisdiction
It is agreed that Dutch law applies for all conflicts resulting from or related to the business relationship under exclusion of norms of international private law and of the UN Convention on Contracts for the international sale of goods. The place of jurisdiction for all conflicts resulting from or related to the business relationship is Hoofddorp, the Netherlands.
Participation Costs
We strongly invite participants to purchase CFAR insurance (see link below) before paying your Participation Fee.
* Given the reality of Covid-19, and the difficulty of adequately insuring your investment against pandemic there cannot be a full refund. This falls under "Force of Nature". (Force majeure).
We maintain the applicants are fully vaccinated plus booster shot against Covid-19.
Should the program be canceled before June 1, 2024 applicants will receive a full refund.
No other circumstances are considered for refunds. You must carry insurance to protect your investment from personal circumstances that might limit or impede your participation. Please see CFAR insurance.
